Thursday - Isaiah 54: 1-10, Ps. 29, Luke 7, 24-30.
Love without limits.
The song of Isaiah today allows us to discover the greatness of the Lord to Israel and to every soul redeemed by his blood. As the shame of the woman sterile or abandoned shall be turned into joy, because it will become the mother of many children, so will the chosen people, God will move when its to save it. Anger or punishment for a moment will turn into a love full of compassion and goodwill, the commitment of eternal love, sanctioned by an oath: "For the mountains and the hills will falter, do not depart from me you care. " The word of God is always present and is addressed to each of us in various situations of life. We are sterile when our life is lived away from God by his grace. Then all the good works we do not have any value before the Lord that reward only what is done for him, with love. But even if in time we have lost her friendship with our infidelities and we have dishonored ourselves and others in the holy name of God, he is always willing to forgive. The desolation of spirit, a sense of aridity and abandonment of the Lord shall be read as a correction to urge them to return to the Father's house. But in these situations of trial and suffering, we should never think of a vengeful God, Death, He is mercy and love. However, we are called to share with Jesus the Saviour the weight of the cross that they have received in love, becomes participation in the work of redemption, staff and community.
